Production Approach
STR Strong Makine implements an end-to-end traceable process in sandblasting machine manufacturing. From material acceptance to machining, from cabin insulation to pre-dispatch validation, every step is documented with revision control, process plans, and measurement reports. Abrasion-resistant steels, manganese castings, and high-quality rubber linings are standard. For high efficiency, the turbine-blasting system is designed at an optimal angle and flow rate; the part flow on our Hanger Shot Blasting Machine, Tumble Shot Blasting Machine, and Sheet and Profile Shot Blasting Machine platforms is validated through simulations and field data.
Quality Control and Testing
Before entering mass production, products undergo FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturability/Assembly) screening. Post-assembly, the following tests are performed:
- Dynamic balancing and vibration measurement
- Abrasive circulation flow rate and recovery efficiency
- Dust emission and filtration differential pressure
- Surface roughness (Ra/Rz) and homogeneity
Every machine is accepted after a test blast with a customer’s part. This discipline ensures stable surface quality and a low failure rate.
Energy and Sustainability
Fan and motor selections are correctly dimensioned according to system curves; the cycle is optimized using inverters. Abrasive consumption is optimized by improving the blasting wheel geometry and blade material. In filtration units, the cartridge area and pulse frequency are calculated to target low energy consumption and long cartridge life. Noise and dust levels are below regulatory limits. This approach significantly reduces energy bills and the total cost of ownership for the operation.

In new model development, quiet operation, fast maintenance, and easy cleaning are priorities. Long-term endurance tests are performed on prototype machines. Exploded diagrams, electrical and pneumatic schematics, operation & maintenance manuals, and spare parts lists are delivered with every machine. Surface cleaning targets are defined with reference to EN ISO 8501 standards. If your acceptance conditions are customer-specific, an on-site verification procedure is applied in addition to the factory acceptance test (FAT).
